Reproductive Health & Justice
CHNSC is focused on community-based approaches and outreach strategies to educate our community on workers’ rights, health and safety, and reproductive health— with the focus on the impact of workplace toxins on reproductive health—and providing medically accurate information and culturally competent education to combat the rampant misinformation nail salon workers are subject to.
Hands Together for Nail Salon Wellness Postcard Series
Our “Hands Together for Nail Salon Wellness” postcard series is now live! Sometimes, many common and uncommon health and reproductive health terms are not as familiar for the Vietnamese community. Our postcard series aims to increase awareness and understanding of these terms within our community, so that when they are experiencing ailments or challenges in their reproductive health, they will be able to name them, and ask their doctors or specialists about them.
