Since 2005, the California Healthy Nail Salon Collaborative has been dedicated to educating and organizing nail salon workers, advocating for policy changes and better working conditions, and fostering civic engagement within the community.
Our team is based in California and works collaboratively across the areas of Outreach & Leadership Development, Policy Advocacy, Research, and Civic and Voter Engagement.

Program Assistant
Our team is looking for a dedicated leader, who can outreach, support, organize, and train community members, including but not limited to first-generation immigrants, refugees, and nail salon workers and owners. You are committed to racial, economic, reproductive, gender, and environmental justice, bottom-up social change, and building social movements. You have a deep understanding of the experiences and histories of Asian American communities (and still want to deepen your understanding).
Our team is looking for a leader: someone who can outreach and provide support to our organization and our communities; someone who can facilitate civic engagement trainings and programs; someone who is committed to supporting voter advocacy, grassroots organizing, and the building of social movements.
